While there was a bit of oomph to get back to business this fall, after a lazy summer, we find ourselves slowing down once again.
Hibernating for the winter is not the worst idea. Laying low and embracing solitude feel like the most peaceful and pleasant options.
It’s a good time to reflect on what brings you peace, joy and clarity. If situations, people, ideas, etc. feel mucky or murky, take a step back. Reevaluate. There is no need to rush in your decision making this month.
October and November had themes of temper tantrums. Lucky you if you were able to avoid those, whether at home or in society. The good news is, spirit is not using the words “temper tantrums” to describe this winter. The key is “solitude”. So while there can certainly be chaos, that is less of a theme. Perhaps that is because we are all tired of it and therefore less phased by others’ drama. Hopefully through the recent tumult we have learned some strategies for forging ahead despite the drama. Now we learn to become masters of our own universe, our own destiny. We can not depend on others to be the sheppard of our own happiness or peace. And it is in this phase of our lives that we learn the power of peaceful solitude.
Go within and ask yourself what is right for you. What works for those you are responsible for or doesn’t? And then, take steps to create the happiness in life that you so deserve. I once had the pleasure of taking a class with a very wise sociology professor named Henry. He was probably about 80 years old, and something he said to the class 20+ years ago has always stuck with me. He said that once we turn 18, no one is responsible for our happiness but ourselves. That feels very timely now.
When can we expect this energy to significantly shift? That is not likely to occur until late April or early May. And even at that it’s not rainbows and sunshine. We’re actually in an interesting energetic climate for about the next 7 years (according to astrology). See the links to resources below for a variety of astrological information.

What can you do now?
If you would like to learn more about how areas of your life are most specifically affected by the energy we are experiencing, consider an angel reading. The angels always have guidance to help light your path. They are optimistic and a peaceful presence. Of course, loved ones in spirit often show up during readings as well (mediumship). They are more likely to give their own opinions, albeit in a loving way. Lately, lots of grandparents in spirit have been showing up during sessions. Loved ones usually come when they can relate to a situation you are experiencing and are ready to offer their wisdom. Because they can now see things from a bird’s eye view (what with being in the spirit world and all) they often surprise their loved one with the caring, empathetic messages they bring.
